I was blown away by how well the Magic Eraser cleaned soot and smoke off of ceramic floor tile and porcelain shower surround tile. I used one until it had holes worn through and was out of whatever chemicals it uses.

ZEP Peroxide Cleaner 1 quart bottle Stain remover with Peroxide. This works much better than white vinegar. You can see the coating loosen and drip away as you spray it or mop it onto the surface.

Scrub with a sponge mop, not a cloth mop. $29.95 for the mop + $20.95 for 3-pack extra heads This is the ideal sponge style to use for mopping. Great for sucking up lots of muck while allowing a clean swiping edge. Also, it is tiff enough to scrub well. Not usually found in grocery or dollar stores.
